Our member Tricia Loades, has been taking part in virtual competitions and also real life competitions. In the Norfolk and Norwich Horticultural Society Spring Show held at the Costessey Centre, Tricia took part in the floral art section. There were two classes to enter, F1 – Springtime is Crazy and F2 – Green is the Colour, an all foliage arrangement. Tricia did well as she came second in the Springtime is Crazy class and first in the Green is the Colour class. She also won runner up to best in show with her all green arrangement. The only reason she didn’t win best in show was because some of the flower buds on her foliage had started to open in the heat of the room! So, well done Tricia.
Tricia also took part in the NNHS Late Autumn Show entering the ‘Let me Entertain you’ flower arranging classes. She entered the ‘White Christmas’ class and came away with first prize for her arrangement that was meant to look like a Christmas Tree.
