EVENTS COMING UP IN 2024
3rd May – National Flower Arranging Day. Members will be taking part in the day when they will very kindly leave some arrangements around the area for people to take home and enjoy. There will be a card attached explaining the Day and this also acts as a free ticket for one of our meetings.
7th May – Barbara Collins – Spring into Summer. A competition of the same title will be held.
4th June – Stephanie Laing – Influenced by.
16th June – Coach Trip to the East of England Area’s 70th anniversary Flower Arranging Show entitled “Let’s Celebrate” at Hunstanton.
2nd July – Slide show by Jonathan Orland of photos from our 65th Flower Festival from 2023. Followed by a demonstration by our President Diane and Treasurer Penny.
13th August – Annual General Meeting, Chedgrave Church Rooms.
1st October – Jenni Baker – Ode to Autumn. A competition will be held with the title of Autumn Glory.
5th November – Violette Velkinene – Floral Elegance – a Showcase of Nature’s Beauty.
3rd December – Christmas Open Meeting with Linda Kingcott – It’s a sort of Magic.
Membership for our Club is £35 for the year. Senior members (those over 80) are £25. Visitors are charged £7-50 for the meeting. Meetings are held at St John’s Church, George Lane, Loddon, NR14 6NB.
There is a raffle held after the meeting for the flower arrangements and on occasion we have plants for sale and hold competitions.
