At this meeting we started with a slide show of our Flower Festival – ‘Queen and Commonwealth’ that we had in July. We had asked Jonathan from Chet Valley Photography Club to put the photos together that he had taken at the festival. Jonathan had done a very good job and members all enjoyed the photos and the commentary by our Vice-Chairman Tricia L.
This was then followed by our President Diane with her flower arranging demonstration entitled ‘Remember, Remember’. Diane made some lovely designs which included remembering the very cold winter of 1963, her school days and memories of competing in Chelsea Flower Show many moons ago. A lovely evening was had by all.
