To celebrate our 65th anniversary (blue sapphire), we held a flower festival over 22nd, 23rd and 24th September at Holy Trinity Church, Loddon. The theme was Hobbies and Pastimes, as 65 was traditionally the year to retire! The church was full with flower arrangements from our members, and if you didn’t do a windowsill, pedestal or pew top arrangement, our members could make a cake for the churches pop-up cafe or steward on one of the days. I think all the Club members helped in some way. Thank you to everyone that took part.

Comments from the public were very complimentary, with more than one person saying it was the best flower festival they had seen at the church. Testament to our members skills and also the Flower Festival committee for organising the festival.

A lovely weekend was had at the festival and here’s to the next 65 years of our Club!

Please take a look at our photos from the festival.
