Our Annual General Meeting was held on 8th August at the Church rooms at Chedgrave Church. This year we had one change of the Committee, with everyone else elected back into their posts. Our Secretary Alex Pinder had stepped down after over 20 years of being in the post. Alex was thanked for her work in the role and presented with some flowers and a voucher for an afternoon tea at the Assembly House in Norwich. We welcome Jenny Frosdick in Alex’s place.
After the business side of the meeting our Chairman Tricia Godfrey presented trophies to this year’s competition winners as follows:-
Novice trophy – Jean Madgett.
Intermediate trophy – Penny Mills.
Advanced trophy – Tricia Loades
Baker Cup – for the member who has helped the Club out over the year was not able to be presented on the night, but at the next meeting Roger Outlaw was the recipient.
Afterwards members had time for a social chat over a lovely buffet provided by the Committee.
