For our outing this year we had a coach trip to the Sandringham Flower Show on Wednesday 26th July. Twenty one members and friends went on the coach from Loddon and really enjoyed all that was on offer at the Show. From flower arranging demonstrations, gardening talks, show gardens, Horticultural tents with exhibits from people from the Sandringham Estate and wider Norfolk. Also ring events, lots of flower and plants stalls to buy from and plenty of food stalls with brass bands playing. The weather for us was very good amongst a week of unsettled weather. Some of us also caught a glimpse of the King and Queen who were visiting the Horticultural tents.

One of the main talking points from the show was a pie made to look like the King, which was in the class to make a pie fit for a King.
