Again this year on Friday 5th May, members took part in National Flower Arranging Day. This is where members of flower clubs make arrangements and leave them out for anyone to take home and enjoy. This is partly to advertise their clubs, as the cards that go with the arrangements can then be used as a free ticket to one of our flower arranging demonstrations, and partly as a good will gesture. This year the cards said “Make someone’s day with this lonely bouquet” . Our members placed them in Loddon, Chedgrave, Ashby St Mary, Langley, Poringland, Kirby Bedon, Thwaite St Mary and Rockland St Mary. There were 20 arrangements placed in the villages, with some members doing more than one arrangement.

  1. I just wanted to message to say that my eldest son spotted a lovely floral arrangement in poringland this morning, and he has taken care of it, and brought it home to me after school.
Thank you so very much. It has really cheered me up. 😊
